Mdm. Gaye Maree Tiplady, Trainer from LeapEd Services had visited SK Sei Duyong, Malacca on 7th - 8th Oct 2015. The main agenda of the visit were to see how far the school carry out the given tasks as stated in the In-School Activity Kit of Module One and Module Two; and secondly to reflect on key concepts and tasks.
ELIT partners from Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB), English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC), and Jabatan Pendidikan Melaka (JPM) also present during the visit, as part of the guidance training under the public school transformation program.
Day 1 (7th Oct 2015, Wednesday):
Upon arriving, we were warmly welcomed by the school and accompanied by bunga manggar and bunga telur to the hall. At there, the Principal delivered a speech to the students.

After a tea break, En. Abdul Wahid bin Badri, the principal presented the school profile so that we have a better understanding of the school. Also, he presented the action plan for PreSTasi implementation in school. He categorised the activities in three phases which are: Phase of change, Phase of enhancement and Phase of Implementation.

After lunch, we met at the Principal office. As the main purpose of the visit was to see how far the school carry out the tasks given during the training of Module One and Module Two, Mdm. Maree gathered information from the Principal and documentations.
Congratulations to SKSD! The school has done a good job on delivering the message of school transformation program to all middle leaders and school staff. According to Mdm. Maree, SKSD has the most completed task and evidences, so far.

Day 2 (8th Oct 2015, Thursday):
On day two, Mdm. Maree interviewed two teachers and two middle leaders to get feedback on their understanding of school transformation program, the effectiveness of CPD, and suggestions for improvement.
In the afternoon, a CPD session on Learning Walks and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) had been carried out by Mdm. Maree. Thank you so much to all teachers for their attendance and supports.
