A two day visit to SK Sempang, Merlimau, Malacca on 12 -13 October 2015. This visit is part of the public school transformation program by Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE). The main agenda of the visit were to see how far the school carry out the given tasks as stated in the In-School Activity Kit of Module One and Module Two; and secondly to reflect on key concepts and tasks.
Day 1 (12 th Oct 2012):
Mdm. Gaye Maree Tiplady, Trainer from LeapEd Services, also ELIT partners from Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB), English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC), Jabatan Pendidikan Melaka (JPM) and Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) were warmly welcomed by the school with bunga manggar and a Silat presentation.

After a tea break, we gathered at the computer lab for a brie
fing session. The Principal presented the school profile and action plan for PreSTasi implementation in school. During the session, teachers shown a very positive responses and are keen to know how to go forward.

After lunch, we met at the computer lab to get feedback from the Principal and PKs on the status of implementation. Also, to discus and plan for Day 2 activities.
Congratulations to SK Sempang! The school had delivered the message of school transformation program to all middle leaders and school staff. The planned ceremony and CPD session on 6th Oct 2015 were postponed due to school closure as haze worsen.
Day 2 (13th Oct 2015):
In the morning, 8.30 a.m., we had a general discussion with school leadership team (SLT) on the PreSTasi action plan. At the same time, we discussed and prepared how to do the trial run of learning walk session at 11.30 - 12.30 a.m..
10.00 - 10.30 a.m., Mdm. Maree interviewed two teachers to get feedback on their understanding of school transformation program, the effectiveness of CPD, and suggestions for improvement.
